From summer to autumn with Busy Bee Basics - and news of a brand new look to our UK machine knitting magazine...

Book 35 Summer Coolers

Summer Coolers

A timeless collection of five sleeveless tops in a variety of styles and yarns to see you through August and early September - or perhaps an autumn cruise somewhere hot!

Book 81 Glenshee

Glenshee

Already selling well! Sweater, hat, mitts and scarves for those early morning autumn walks. This book features 24 stitch patterns, but Aviemore has bolder patterns for the electronic machines

Hot off the press!

The September issue of Machine Knitting Monthly landed on our doormat on Saturday morning - and what a difference! Anne said, in last month's issue, that the magazine would have a fresh, new look as a result of bringing on board a new design expert, and the fresh, modern, look is so impressive.

It's not just the cover, either! Every page is now in colour, patterns have their own section, as have newsy items and articles, and the result is really inspiring. As the knitting season is just about to begin (although with the weather in Manchester I think summer has been and gone!) this is going to be a magazine to really look forward to every month.

Machine Knitting Monthly is often to be found on the magazine shelves in W H Smith, but if you can't wait until your next forage to the nearest store, you can always go to Machine Knitting Monthly's website at
