Inspired once more by Art
Deco, this modern design will always be fashionable. To obtain a good
photograph the colours have been lightened, but in its original purple
and black the effect is very elegant. The Fair Isle construction gives
a very warm finish - no need for a coat!

knitted in Forsell Shamal Acrylic/wool mix, has a flattering V neckline
and semi-set in sleeves; the traditional cuffs ensure warmth when
the cardigan is worn as a jacket.
Picking up on the Art Deco theme, the cardigan's surface design continues the crocus and trellis theme, and the cardigan is designed to match the square neck jumper shown above. For more versatility, however, try using only the two main colours or knitting the cardigan in stocking stitch only - either one solid colour, or stripes of colour to match another garment.
