A
warm, heavily textured, garter carriage jacket knitted in Forsell Shamal Double
Knitting yarn, 80% Acrylic, 20% wool.
This pattern has a 24 stitch repeat and is suitable for all Brother machines with garter carriage and fits sizes 30"-44". Although the pattern on this jacket has the look of cables, there is no hand tooling at all; all the texture is achieved simply with the garter carriage. There is also fine attention to detail: the smaller pictures show the collar, bands and borders which are specially designed to match the main pattern most carefully. The pattern gives the row numbers for the buttonholes so that the buttons are always placed in the correct part of the pattern. For ease of construction and a neater finish, the two buttons on the collar are decorative and conceal press fasteners. |
