Textured Flat Ribs on the Garter Carriage

A tunic style sweater knitted in Bramwell's Fine 4 ply, 100% Acrylic.

The 24 stitch garter carriage pattern produces a fabric which lies completely flat and drapes excellently.

This garment has a V neckline with a narrow neckband, square armholes and side vents. Sizes 34"-48"

Flat Ribbed Sweater from Book 66

Elegant, longline sweater Knitted in Bramwell's Fine 4 ply Nep, 100% Acrylic yarn.

This longline sweater has a classic round neck and square armholes. Although the garment looks quite shaped on our patient model (Polly Styrene) it really is a fairly flat fabric which hangs straight.

An added bonus: the reverse of the fabric is also attractive and has well defined. prominent stripe arrangements.

Sizes 34"-48"

A Classic length waistcoat  knitted in Forsell's Shamal 80% Acrylic/20% wool double knitting (DK).

The waistcoat is styled with a V neck, 6 button fastening and armhole bands which give definition to the shoulder line and a well balanced shape.

The recessed pattern works really well with the double knit yarn, providing lots of textural interest whilst also giving the garment an elegant line and a slimming look.

An added bonus: you might also like the pattern on the reverse of this fabric, where the vertical lines stand proud of the fabric.

 Sizes 32"-50".

If we had known how difficult it is to photograph red, this sweater would have been knitted in powder blue!

Here is another sweater with a rib pattern which lies flat and does not 'come in'. The only shaping on this garment is brought about by our choice of conventional ribbing for the welt. For a straighter look substitute a more stable GC border, such as garter stitch.

With a classic V neckline and square armholes, this classic length sweater is knitted in Bramwell's Fine 4 ply 100% Acrylic and is designed to fit sizes 32"-50"

These stitch patterns are available on disk GC2 for wither Brother disk drive or DesignaKnit
