Fair Isle Ensemble for electronics

Warm Sweater with Electronic Design from Book 82 The Fair Isle sweater - an original interpretation of traditional Norwegian Star designs - is knitted in 4 ply yarn which is 80% Acrylic and 20% wool (Spectrum Tango or Forsell Shamal).

Designed with short floats (which also adds warmth to the construction) and doubled welts and cuffs to eliminate draughts.

Whether it's ice skating on a frozen lake, cheering on the team or walking the dog on a crisp, bright morning, this sweater fits the bill perfectly. To fit sizes 32"-46".

For the great outdoors, team the sweater with this range of accessories.

In some of the sizes it's possible to knit the sweater, hat, mittens and the shorter stole scarf out of only two 500g cones of yarn!

Hat from Book 80 Start off with a hat that really keeps out the cold and frames your face attractively with its extra thick folded brim.

The tassel (shown below) is optional.

Now warm up those fingers with a pair of mittens! (

For even more warmth, wear these as over-mittens over close fitting gloves or ski-mitts).

Stole Scarf from Boou 80 Our stole scarf is double thickness with Star single motifs at each end; its width and thickness gives it sufficient substance to drape across your shoulders attractively - or - if you are caught in a snow flurry - just drape the stole scarf over your hair, throw the ends over your shoulders, and stay dry with style!

(If you have extra yarn you can make the stole scarf longer for even more style).

The traditional Fisherman's rib comforter scarf coordinates beautifully with the Fair isle sweater and accessories. The shorter length is perfect for wearing the scarf tucked into a winter coat.

If extra yarn is available you may prefer to knit the longer length so that you can wear the scarf the modern way - fold it in half, place round your shoulders, and thread the ends through the loop, adjust as required.

The stitch patterns for these designs are available on disk FE1 for either Brother disk drive or DesignaKnit
